Radlocals.

I had the opportunity to enhance the realm of local experiences through my involvement with the startup 'Radlocals'. The aim of the app was to offer users a personalized platform for discovering exciting local activities, aligning seamlessly with their preferences for activites, cuisine, and beverages. Throughout my internship, the primary focus was on crafting a functional and aesthetically pleasing app design using Adobe XD. In a collaborative effort with another intern, we explored the feasibility of the design by bringing it to life through coding.

Beyond the app's digital realm, I extended the brand's impact by designing merchandise. This included creating visually appealing shirt designs, adding an extra layer to Radlocals' representation in the market. This project allowed me to not only delve into the intricacies of UI/UX design but also to contribute to the holistic branding and user engagement strategies of the company.

UI Design / Prototype

Process

In approaching this project, I conducted extensive research on diverse app designs, analyzing their efficacy and identifying areas for improvement. I delved into the functionality of similar applications, studying their user experiences. Following this research phase, I conceptualized three distinct approaches to the design and functionality of the app. After choosing the path, I translated the selected concept into a tangible app prototype using Adobe XD. This included presenting envisioned features and building the user profile for a smoother user experience.
